There are several factors that make downtown Minneapolis an attractive place for those developing data centers. The power grid has capacity in downtown Minneapolis, and there's also a lot of redundancy built into the downtown area power grid. There's excellent access to a high-speed

fiber network. There's proximity to a large number of end users of information, and closer proximity means information is delivered more quickly. And there are some buildings that are adaptable for this use. It's important to note that there are many buildings

Our preference is that buildings are full of residents as well as businesses that are providing large number of jobs. Downtown Minneapolis is the center of our region's transit system.
